How do I fit the camera?

You can fit the Rexing S3 yourself with no cutting and no drilling — the manual walks you through it step by step.

 

*If you hit a snag while fitting it, our technical support team is on hand every weekday from 9am to 5pm.

Step 1 – Fit the mount to the camera.

Slide the suction mount onto the camera and stick it to the windshield just below the mirror.

 

Step 2 – Connect the power cable

Take the supplied USB-C and 12V socket adapter, plug it into whichever suits your car — the 12V socket or the USB-C port — then run the power cable to the camera.

 

Step 3 – Install the mobile app

Scan the supplied QR code with the camera, download the app and pair the camera to your phone over Wi-Fi.

 

Step 4 – You're ready to go.

 

Set it up once and the dash cam powers on automatically when you start the engine, then drops into parking mode when you switch off. Every mode can be adjusted from the app.

When the camera's own battery dies, does it drain my car battery?

Once the camera's own battery runs down, if it detects a low charge in your car battery — 0.2V below the 11.6V threshold — it shuts itself off after 60 seconds. That low-voltage cut-off protects both your car battery and your Rexing S3.

Does it record audio?

Yes. The S3 has a built-in microphone and records audio whenever you want it to. You can switch it off in the app at any time.

When will my order arrive?

We usually prepare your order within 2 business days. Once it's with the carrier it reaches you in about 1–4 days.

What happens when the SD card is full?

Once the memory card in the S3 fills up, it starts overwriting the oldest clip and keeps recording without limit.

How do I track my order?

As soon as your tracking number is in the system you'll find it by signing in to your account or in the shipping email we send you, and you can follow your parcel from there.

Can I fit it myself, and will there be cables everywhere?

The suction mount makes the Rexing S3 easy to take off and put back on. The long power cable plus the routing tips in the manual let you tuck the cable behind your trim, so the wiring leaves no trace.
